This is a good article about service strategy using ITIL 3.0. Alex Hernandez has a insightful approach to approaching ITIL 3.0 and creating value through it’s use. He points out that once you have the Total Cost of Ownership (“TCO”) figured out for a given service you can add it to your service catalog within your service portfolio and help the organization understand the value of a service to the organization. He makes several other valuable points in this article. Enjoy!
