Verizon Launches Direct Attack Against The iPhone With Ads For The Motorola Droid. Sounds like a possible true competitor for the iPhone. Multi-tasking is a truly great feature. I noticed they don’t mention anything about a store application for the apps, only the number of apps 10,000+, which is significantly lower than what is available for the iPhone. Also, the music player iTunes on the iPhone is not dissed or mentioned…therefore, one should assume that iTunes still remains superior. I will be interested in how the Droid does in the marketplace.
